Actually, we wanted a room addition in our small house and we were not sure enough if our tiny home will really allow us to have another room. However, they made it possible! Ever since we created our plans for addition (about 9 months ago - 950 sqft addition) we have looked for the best contractor for the job. After several meetings with other contractors Victor came and took his time reading the plans and explaining us the process (even though we had these plans we never saw what the engineer actually put in - because we don't understand anything at construction) after a very pleasant meeting Victor sent us the quote which was very reasonable and committed to a three month completion time. And he stood by his word! The project came out perfect and now we hired him again to redo the plaster at our pool and some hardscape.

We were looking to convert our garage to an ADU , we took few estimates and I must say, this company gave us the best impression from the start! Professional, knowledgeable and gave us a great price! We have started with plans, the work had started as soon as the plans were approved by the city and its already towards the end and I must say that it's already looks incredible!!! We're we're should I start... we wanted to take advantage of the newer law of adding a rental (ADU) to our property. Didn't know where to start we interviewed about 4 contractors which non left a good impression and we felt hopeless, we almost went with one of them just because we needed to choose, then last minute my husband co worker recommend Vic with City Builders And Development  we didn't expect much after our past interviews but Victor gave us confidence from our first meeting we know he will be our contractor. Plans took about 7 months (corona times...) and we started right when we got our permits. Victor convert our existing garage to a beautiful unit with small kitchen and full bathroom and even laundry (didn't think it's possible to fit all of it and still have room for dining table and living room furniture). Process of the construction took about 14 weeks and the results are amazing. Within 3 weeks we found our first ever renter for an amount that was greater then expected. I Called City Builders and Development four months ago to get a quote for an ADU project I wanted to do. I wanted to turn my detached garage into a unit I can rent and make some income on. After I received a few bids from multiple companies, I chose to hire City Builders on a few reasons: 1. They had the most professional (licensed, insured etc..) Company 2. They are not a large company (Family owned and operated) and I felt a part of the family 3. Reasonable pricing (about 15% lower then the highest quote I got) 4.  They explained, and followed every step of the way and answered to all my questions with breeze. Now, 4 months after, I can definitely say it was the right choice, the ADU came out better than expected, faster than expected and rented our already for top dollar. City Builders suggested amazing ideas to maximize the space and made this ADU look like a 5 star hotel suit! Now we are working on doing an addition to the main house with City Builders - I can say I found my contractors for life!

We already had the plans and the engineer reccomended City Builders to built our new addition. Immidiatly we connected with Victor as he explained the process in dept. We were originally getting estimates for enclosing our garage breezeway to create a laundry room.  We got estimates from several other contractors who all wanted to sell us what they thought that should be (which were all beyond our budget). We contacted Victor at City Builders on Yelp based on excellent reviews before giving up and Moses came out for the estimate. Instead of trying to sell us something overly expensive for what we thought we wanted, he took the time to show us several indoor options to create an indoor laundry area at a fraction of the cost.  We were so enthused at having room left in our budget that we expanded the project to convert our older electric cooktop to a new gas cooktop. We had a quote in hand the next day, and he was able to start work the following week. All the new water and gas lines, appliance installations, drywall work and touch up were done faster than expected. The finished work is amazing, and we were extremely impressed. We know picking the right contractor is difficult, and there's a lot on the line. We have no problem recommending City Builders and know that we'll be calling them for whatever future home improvement remodeling we may need.

We needed to give our fireplace, flooring and paint on the walls a facelift before putting the house on the market. I have no creative vision when it comes to home improvement. Victor helped me visualize exactly what I wanted (and also what was going to look the best). These guys are quality - and were able to do the work very quickly! I would highly recommend City Builders and will use them on my new house.
